Anyone know anymore about these Pathfinder’s transmission issue? One person said her car lurched forwards when she selected Reverse. Not very informative news stories...

My uncle and his family have had two current gen Pathfinders (one was totaled), and have had them for a total of over 2 years. As far as I know, they’ve never had a single issue with the CVT, and it’s honestly not that annoying around town.

Mine has less than 40000 kms on it so far.

My CVT was reprogrammed last summer.

i actually love the CVT in my 2014 pathfinder, I was really expecting to hate it when I tried it. not one problem so far with mine.

PS in 2015 the gave the CVT fact gear changes, which to me is against the point of a cvt.

i think her rolling fowards is the same problem Toyota had with sudden acceleration .....

My 2003 mazda protege5 would sometimes move about 10 feet after i put it in park. Dealer said it’s normal for an automatic to move after you put in park.

ps. never going back to that dealer family again. Fuck you paquin mazda , ford and VW!!!
